Online Service Landing Page

A gentle landing page that introduces a small online “Guchi Café” listening service with a calm, reassuring tone.

Project Overview

This website was created for a café located in the forests of Nasu. The goal was to gently convey the café’s atmosphere and make it easy for both new and returning customers to find the information they need.

Challenges & Requests

Challenges

  • The combination of “craft cola” and an online listening service called “Guchi Café” is unusual, and needed to be explained in a way that first-time visitors could instantly grasp.
  • The host’s attitude — not judging, not forcing people to “cheer up” — is at the heart of the service, and had to be expressed carefully through both wording and layout.

Requests

  • Convey the gentle taste of the craft cola and the sense of safety of the Guchi Café in one continuous story on a single page.
  • Keep the structure simple so it can flexibly adapt to future changes such as pop-up events or new service plans.
  • Make it easy to understand that email and Instagram DMs are the main contact channels for inquiries and bookings.

Design Direction

One story for “gentle cola” and “a place to vent”

We built the page around the core line: “Gentle craft cola and a small café-like time to vent.” Product and service information are woven together so visitors feel they are entering a single, coherent world rather than jumping between separate offerings.

A relaxed layout that doesn't demand too many words

There is a fair amount of text, but we used generous line spacing and paragraph breaks to avoid a cramped feeling. The goal was a page that feels unhurried and unforced — the opposite of a hard-selling landing page.

Letting the host's personality come through

The profile section sits close to the “how it works” and pricing information for the Guchi Café. This helps visitors imagine what kind of person will be listening and what kind of stance they can expect before they book.

Responsibilities

  • Information architecture / Copy editing / Design / Coding

We put particular care into tone of voice and messaging: clearly stating that this is not a medical or counseling service, and gently suggesting professional support where appropriate, while still keeping the overall atmosphere light and reassuring.
