WORKS
Local Café Website
A calm, forest-inspired website that organizes menus and events, expressing the relaxed atmosphere of the café.
Overview
Project Overview
This website was created for a café located in the forests of Nasu. The goal was to gently convey the café’s atmosphere and make it easy for both new and returning customers to find the information they need.

Background
Challenges & Requests
Challenges
- While the café had many regular customers, it was difficult for new visitors to discover the place.
- The café, events, and campground were each presented separately, making the overall information feel scattered and hard to understand.
- The client wanted to clearly share the latest opening days and event details via a calendar and news updates.
Requests
- Create a website that conveys both the feeling of a “forest café” and a “campground”.
- Make it easy to check the latest opening days and event information using a calendar and news section.
- Help first-time visitors quickly understand access, pricing, and other basic information at a glance.
Concept
Design Direction
Calm Forest Visuals with Warmth
Using deep forest greens and warm, light tones reminiscent of sunbeams through the trees, the design focuses on large, welcoming photos to immediately communicate the concept of a “forest café in Nasu”.
Clear Paths for Café, Events, and Camping
The main navigation organizes the content into “Cafe / Event / Camp / Facility / Reservation” so that visitors can easily find what they are looking for, no matter their purpose.
Calendar & News for Up-to-date Information
A calendar and news section make it easy to check current opening days and event schedules at a glance. Regular visitors can quickly confirm the latest information each time they visit the site.

If you're wondering whether a similar site could work for your café or business, feel free to reach out even with a very rough idea.
You don't need to have every detail decided in advance. A message such as “We run a café in the forest” or “We want to better organize information about our services” is a great starting point.
I usually reply within 3 business days.
